The sin monkey

satan is basically using the same principle (as this monkey).

	We are on a huge, slippery, downhill sloping surface. At the top of the slope is God and heaven. At the bottom of the slope is satan and hell. Unless we actively claw our way up, we slowly slip and slide down (and away from God).
Sitting on our shoulder is satan — "the sin monkey". He constantly tempts us. When we don’t “feed” the monkey, he jumps and dances around, so that it becomes more difficult to stay where we are.	>	“01.the sin monkey.mp4”	>	To make things worse, he is holding a can of oil, which he loves to spray all over the already slippery slope – as he gets bigger, so does the oil-can and amount of splashing. The ONLY way to satiate this “monkey” is by prayer and acknowledgment of our redemption that we are gifted by God’s grace. No amount of “resistance” or “good behaviour” will EVER be enough.
